I have always been an “arts” person and for most of my life, I have concentrated on being creative by playing and teaching music.  After retiring from a successful 30 year teaching career, I turned my arts passion to photography, and most recently to encaustic art. Line, colour, texture, shape: these are a few of the details that attract and allow me to capture images that are both bold and dramatic.

And there are opportunities everywhere... from my own garden to the streets of Toronto, Quebec City, Luccain, Italy, I have wandered with abandon to satisfy my creative needs.
