The Arts Alive/Heritage Halton Hills Award for Heritage recognizes an
individual(s) who has displayed excellence in the field of natural and/or built/movable heritage within the Halton Hills community. The Award, this year, was presented to Pat Farley.
Pat Farley was appointed to Heritage Halton Hills in 2011 driven by her ongoing passion for heritage architecture and her interest in researching and quantifying the need to preserve and where feasible propose for adaptive reuse, those properties that are important in terms of environmental impact, sustainability and maintaining of the unique character of Halton Hills. Pat has taken on writing countless Designation Reports and has recently spearheaded the beginning of a local ACO chapter a huge and important undertaking. If our forefathers could speak they would thank Pat for protecting their legacy!
